RENSSELAER — A 200-kilowatt solar array will be started Monday morning at the Rensselaer City School District campus.
Monolith Solar Associates installed the 671 solar panels that form the array. The system will provide renewable energy to the district campus.
Monolith will sell the power produced by the panels to the district through a 20-year, power-purchase agreement. The district is expected to save $164,000.
